Please note that students in the intensive programs (420, 1080 and 2400 hours) must adhere to a strict schedule and are required to be in the
classroom Tuesday through Friday from 10am – 6pm. Please note that we break for lunch at approximately 12:30pm daily for lunch. Students are not
required to take time away from their work, but this daily half hour has been allocated into the curriculum and will not count towards program
completion.
Students enrolled in the short programs are granted flexible hours that may be completed with a fixed duration of time. All bench time must be
scheduled in advanced and is subject to availability.
Vacation Days
The studio is closed twice a year. We will be closed for the approximate last two weeks of December until after New Year’s Day. We are also
closed the last week in August. These weeks have been built into the intensive programs (420, 1080, 2400 hours) so that start and end dates have
been adjusted accordingly.
We are also closed for Thanksgiving, the last Thursday in November. This day will be made up during an additional Sunday session for our
full-time students.
Payments Schedules
Students enrolled in the short programs (36, 120 or 240 hours) must pay for their course in full before or during their first day of class.
Students enrolled in the intensives (480, 1080 or 2400) hours are allowed to pay for their program in four equal installments. The initial
deposit is due before or during the first day of class.
All deposits and payments are final and nonrefundable.
Cancellation Policy
Any student expelled from the school due to excessive absences, tardiness or misconduct will not be eligible for a refund.
No refunds will be granted to any student enrolled in either the short programs or long intensives. If a student withdrawals from the program,
the student nonetheless shall remain liable for the full amount of the course contract amount.
Kristin Hanson Fine Jewelry School has a stringent cancellation policy as bench space is limited.
