The book launch of the prestigious Gemvisions 2010 included 16 pages dedicated to the Kristin Hanson Fine Jewelry School. Not only did this visually stunning spread, called “Pure Chaos,” capture the incredible detail of Kristin's work, it featured several of her talented students' pieces. This book is a fitting example of how the students' work is regularly given exposure to industry leaders while they simultaneously perfect their jewelry fabrication skills.

The Hanson School students participated in a marketing seminar to learn the critical marketing and business tools they require to sell their jewelry in this competitive industry. This workshop introduced students to marketing concepts, brand strategy and web design.

Students were given the opportunity to participate in a weekend granulation seminar hosted by famed Goldsmith, Harold O'Connor, in which Mr. O'Connor gave students advanced instruction about a highly complex jewelry fabrication technique.
